Willow was created in July 2010.   The name is derived from the main content of the painting, an abstraction of a willow tree.  Contained in the tree is a face of a woman.  The painting was created in a single afternoon as an impromptu reaction to a conversation with a friend.   It is the combination of her frustration and great fondness she has for the friend.  While the face expresses her feeling, she remains powerful and resolute to let go of that pain and move on.
