At the Disco was created in March 2010.   It is a vibrant celebration of the fun times the artist has had dancing for hours in various dimmed venues that are accented by occasional spurts of color.  “Disco” encompasses the various places she has gone.  The painting contains abstract remnants of what reminds her of these particular experiences: overhead lights, hands and arms in the air, feet on the floor, and obscure faces.  The painting’s colors give it a psychedelic feel to express the feeling of euphoria and oblivion that dancing bestows upon the artist.
